About the Course
Acting Coach Peter Carroll is a highly experienced practitioner specialising in Stanislavski's Method and The Meisner Technique (Peter trained at The Acting Studio, New York City). Peter works with established national and international talent and content creators. He is also an associate lecturer in Screen Acting at LIPA. This short course is suitable for beginners and established talent seeking continued professional development in the craft of acting for stage and screen. The course focuses on both theory and its practical application.
3 x 2 hour sessions. Thursday 7.00pm - 9.00pm UK time.

An audition and selftape masterclass with Peter Carroll
A practical and theoretical exploration of audition sides and scenes, 'marking up', character connection and development, exploration of emotional moment and the application of 'The Method' and Sanford Meisner's Technique.
Stanislavski's Method or System is at the core of many theoretical approaches towards acting - from Uta Hagen to Meisner. We'll also be exploring the concept of 'living only in the moment' and the development of truth in performance.
