We're based in Manchester, UK. We occasionally run workshops across the UK. We also work internationally and online.

 

IS THERE PARKING?

There is on-street parking and carparks near to our Manchester location at The Friends’ Meeting House, Mount Street eg NCP Central Manchester Car Park. For MediaCityUK workshops, we suggest that you use the near-by Multi-Storey Studios Car Park.

ARE YOUR ACTING TEACHERS QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCED?

All of our practitioners are industry experienced and highly qualified professionals. Lead practitioner and Thinking Actors' founder Peter Carroll is also a lecturer at a leading UK Drama School and founding member of the Association of Acting Coaches & Teachers (AACT).

DOES THINKING ACTORS PROVIDE SPOTLIGHT RECOGNISED TRAINING?

WHAT IS THE APPLICATION / BOOKING PROCESS?

Following your online application and registration for your chosen course, you'll receive an email to confirm your place within 24 hours. Please check your spam folder. All payments are processed through GoCardless or Stripe international processing platforms and you can book with confidence.

WILL I GET A CERTIFICATE FOR MY COURSE?

Yes. A Certificate of Completion is available for most courses, providing attendance and terms have been fulfilled. Thinking Actors is a Spotlight accredited training centre.

 

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO A CLASS OR WORKSHOP?

Please wear comfortable clothing and sensible footwear that facilities movement.

 

CAN I REQUEST A REFUND IF I CANNOT MAKE A WORKSHOP THAT I HAVE BOOKED ON TO?

No refund or roll-over is available. We run all our classes and workshops based on the viability of group numbers. Significant time is spent on preparation, distribution of resources and general administration. Please refer to our full terms and conditions.

 

I’VE BOOKED A CONSULTATION MEETING.  I CANNOT MAKE / FORGOT ABOUT THE APPOINTMENT THAT WE AGREED. WHAT SHALL I DO?

Your integrity and reliability are very important to us. Notifying us on the day of the meeting is not acceptable. You will be automatically invoiced for our preparation time. The standard fee is £30.00. You will need to settle this invoice before we can consider rearranging your appointment. 

 

HOW MANY ACTORS ARE IN EACH GROUP?

Our classes run at group numbers between 8-14 . In the case of our media training workshops at MediaCityUK, we work with a maximum of 4 people. 

 

ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS?

Unless specifically stated in the course outline we only work with adults 18+
