Our classes and workshops are structured learning events that help to make you a more instinctive and confident actor - on stage, studio or location shoot. We welcome the serious beginner as well as the more experienced actor.  We're based in Manchester UK.

1 Day workshop.

We're introducing a range of specialist training for actors and teachers in 2019-20. Theatreworks will be a series of classes and workshops that will explore the creative process of theatre making, text in performance and practitioner understanding and application.

 

Our Introduction to Meisner workshop will focus on the practical application and understanding of key approaches and techniques to secure performance and stage truth.

Please note, a short scripted scene will  be sent to you approximately 1-2 weeks prior to the workshop commencing.

Theatreworks is a 10 week scene study course. Participants will develop an understanding of how to successfully engage with character and text using a range of practitioner influences. Constantin Stanislavsaki, Sanford Meisner and Bertolt Brecht will be referenced. A number of carefully selected texts will be explored across the 10 weeks.
