Thinking Actors is a leading Spotlight-accredited acting studio, dedicated to providing professional training for aspiring, emerging, and established actors.
Our mission is to create a supportive, inspiring space where creativity thrives and talent is nurtured to its highest potential. Guided by experienced industry professionals and a comprehensive, practice-based curriculum, we help actors refine their craft and excel in the art of screen and stage performance.

PETER CARROLL

Peter Carroll is a graduate of both Manchester University and Manchester Metropolitan University, and further developed his craft with The Chicago Actors' Workshop Theater and The Acting Studio, New York City. He specialises in the Meisner Acting Technique alongside the core principles of Stanislavski and Uta Hagen.
A member of British Actors’ Equity, Spotlight, and the Royal Television Society, Peter continues to work as an actor, with recent credits including Rupert Copley in ITV’s Coronation Street.

JUDE VAUSE WALSH
Jude Vause-Walsh is an expert voiceover coach. A trained actor, Jude's appeared in the West End, a number of TV dramas, commercials and even the cult classic ‘ A League Of Gentlemen’. She swapped the camera for the microphone twelve years ago and ,since then, has been a busy and highly regarded voiceover artist - and the trusted voice of brands such as SKY, ITV, Tesco, Mercedes and Boots, to name a few. Jude has been coaching aspiring and emerging voiceover artists for seven years, training actors and others in the skills and techniques needed to become a professional voiceover artist. She has a real passion for seeking out and nurturing fresh voice talent.. Jude is co-founder and casting producer of audio production house Vaudio in Manchester.

DEREK MILLER
Derek Miller has starred in three TV series (MTV, Comedy Central, TBS) and appeared in over 80 commercials. He has taught and performed improvisation at iO West (Los Angeles) and The Second City (L.A.) for two decades. He co-created and appeared in 'Opening Night: The Improvised Musical!' for over a thousand performances. Behind the camera, Derek cut his teeth directing casting sessions for thousands of commercials. A favourite of directors, he became an on-set improv consultant. He has gone on to direct over 40 spots including the ambitious PS4 campaign 'Start a Rivalry'. He also produced and directed Uproxx's first animated series. Derek co-wrote the pilot 'Mid to Late' starring Eliza Coupe and Ryan Hansen. He acted and wrote alongside 'Saturday Night Live' cast members Chris Redd and Alex Moffat on the NBC's 'Untitled Primetime Sketch Show'.

ROSEMARY BERKON
Rosemary is a Masters trained Voice, Accent and Dialect Coach. She coaches West End actors, rising star screen actors and holds associations with prestigious drama schools such as LIPA, Rose Bruford and The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. As a coach, Rosemary draws from her experience as an actor where she has toured nationally and performed at venues such as HOME theatre, Theatre 503, The Leeds Playhouse, The Menier Gallery, Theatre Royal Stratford East and Manchester Opera House as well as her work in outreach as a performer/facilitator where she has worked with companies such as Papatango, Odd Arts and The Royal Exchange young company. She has been presented with awards for excellence both as an actor and a teacher. She is passionate about accents and finding the uniqueness of the voice she is working with.

JOE CLEARLY
Joe is a passionate and dedicated photographer with a focus on portrait and live music photography, He creates compelling visual narratives that evoke emotion, tell stories, and impact.
His goal is to bring out our authentic selves and showcase our unique stories. - from actors, influencers and models to artists and bands, Joe has collaborated with a wide array of creative individuals, crafting breathtaking imagery that captures their essence and creates connection.
With a First Class Degree in photography from the University of Salford, his portfolio reflects a fusion of technical expertise, artistic sensibility, and a deep understanding of my subjects. With an unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional results and a personalised approach to each project, he creates a collaborative and enjoyable experience for my clients.
