It's at the core of many theoretical approaches towards acting - from Uta Hagen to Meisner. An understanding of key approaches towards script analysis, character development and the pathway to 'stage truth' is essential knowledge.

A practical and theoretical exploration of The Meisner Technique.

The Meisner Technique is a distinct approach towards personal preparation and performance creation. It’s about how we connect with fellow actors to create organic, believable and engaging choices. It's about using who you are and acknowledging that the voice has meaning. Some understanding of the core principles of Stanislavski’s system or method may be useful but is not essential.

How To Make Self-tapes Worth Watching

This 2 session workshop is suitable for actors looking at raising the standard and impact of their self-tapes and online audition technique. Online auditioning, alongside self-taping submission, will become a new industry norm.

The Fearless Actor

The Fearless Actor is the one-stop audition technique workshop that will help you play an 'A' game with confidence - and embrace who you are as an actor, creative talent and business. Actor training that serves to 'break you down' to 'build you up' will often not prepare you well for this industry. Confidence, strength and resilience are important qualities to nurture. During this 4 session afternoon course, industry acting coach Peter Carroll will guide you towards making smarter and more informed creative choices with scripts, character and sides. We'll explore your 'brand', your worth and your value as a 'business'. This course will guide you towards becoming a more instinctive, confident and efficient professional - able to quickly demonstrate confident, distinct, creative and technical choices that work.
