Rosemary is an expert at teaching the “Standard Accents” General American and Received Pronunciation to Actors.

In this 2.5 hour workshop you will:

*Find out what ‘General American’ is

*Discuss what makes an accent

*Explore a practical voice warm up- initially finding grounding and connection to your own voice, followed by the key exercises to get into accent

*Learn the key features of Gen Am- the anatomy and pronunciation behind it.

*Get a chance to put the accent into practice with text and receive feedback.

You will leave with the tools you need to continue your own learning journey as well as joyful from the time spent being creative and working on your craft!

Practicing accents can be scary but Rosemary provides a supportive environment to play, practice and process the key skills needed for approaching any accent.
