Who We Are
Thinking Actors was founded in 2016 by Head of Studio and lead practitioner Peter Carroll. Peter's a trained actor and qualified acting teacher with over thirty years of experience as a professional drama practitioner and workshop facilitator. He's a graduate of both Manchester University and Manchester Metropolitan. He also trained with The Chicago Actors' Workshop Theater (now known as Redtwist Theater) and with The Acting Studio, New York City.

Thinking Actors is a registered UK learning provider. We deliver high quality creative support services and Continued Professional Development (CPD) and guidance for actors, presenters and creatives at all stages of their career. We're based in Manchester, United Kingdom.
Our support services include showreel creation and editing, premium self taping for casting, career consultancy and audition coaching. Private coaching services are also available - online, in person or on set. We work with international and established actors and performers as well as with new and emerging talent. Our clients can be seen in FX/BBC 'Devs', BBC 'Flatmates', Netflix 'Dracula', ITV 'Sanditon', BBC 'Our Girl', NBC 'This Is Us', Channel 4/HBO 'Boys' and upcoming film, 'Everbody's Talking About Jamie'
We also provide bespoke training for the Corporate and Education sector.
Thinking Actors provides a supportive, experiential learning environment to help actors and creatives develop and refine their skill base. If you're serious about acting, we want to work with you.
We deliver structured, high quality workshops across the UK. You'll be taught and not just directed. We create technical and informed actors for stage, studio and location shoot.
Our online services work with actors across the globe - providing specialist training and guidance. All online classes are 'live' and streamed in Ultra HD.
We work with some of the industry's top practitioners and have established links with agents, the independent film, theatre and television industries.
