We're pleased to announce that we'll be collaborating with The Actors Company Los Angeles. Acting coach Peter Carroll will be bringing an exciting professional development opportunity to London late Spring.
Thinking Actors launches new talent management arm
You asked us - so we're giving! Our talent management division will be known as TA Boutique. TA Boutique will co-exist alongside our training and creative departments. Our key aim is to find, create and nurture distinctive talent for film, theatre, television and digital.

We're rolling out our NEW smartphone app
We're inviting clients attending our Acting for Camera classes to register for access to our portal. By downloading the ThinkSmart Portal app - available on google play or in store - to a smartphone, clients will be able to view classes, details and payments plus MUCH more.
1. Following registration confirmation, download the ThinkSmart Portal app to your phone.
2. Enter the login details that you used to register - both your email address and your password.
3. You're good to go!

'Ends Meat' Heads to New York
Congratulations to director Helen Lyons Curran, writer Kris Heys and actors Julie Root, Vincent Conwy, Michael T Birtwistle & Mark Vanhendrijk. 'Ends Meat'will be screening at The Hamilton New York International Film Festival this month! Thinking Actors' Peter Carroll is co-executive producer.

BBC Television broadcasts 'The Believers Are But Brothers'

Thinking Actors' Peter Carroll is delighted to be working closely with Edinburgh Fringe breakthrough performer Javaad Alipoor. 'The Believers Are But Brothers' is a commission for BBC Television. TA Acting Coach to attend International Emmy Awards in New York City
Congratulations to UK International Emmy Nominees 'Man In an Orange Shirt' (Kudos TV), Urban Myths (Happy Tramp Ltd/Sky UK), Emily Watson in 'Apple Tree Yard' (Kudos TV) & 'Goodbye Aleppo' (BBC). TA's Peter Carroll is attending both the Emmy Television Festival and the main awards ceremony on November 19, at The Hilton Midtown in New York City. ITV Casting Director Joanne Moss Visits Thinking Actors
At Thinking Actors, we work with some of the industry's top practitioners. Coronation Street Casting Director, Joanne Moss, recently visited our Acting for Camera class at MediaCityUK. Joanne shared her knowledge and advice about auditioning for television and took time time to meet with all our actors. A Q&A session was followed by an audition exercise. Joanne will be back in the near future for a very special event.

Thinking Actors at MAP48 hour Film Challenge
Many thanks to Alexandra Maxwell and Simon Naylor at 53two Theatre for organising such a fun weekend of collaboration, creativity and fun! It was great to see so many Thinking Actors take part in this challenging 48hr film making event. Well done to all! Special congratulations to Parisa Nikkhah-Eshgh - winner of the Best Actress Award - and John Brodrick, who received Best Director for the film BMI Busters. BMI Busters also received The People's Choice Award following an on-line vote. Peter Carroll, our lead practitioner, was pleased to be a part of this talented winning team.

Great New Headshots with Jacqueline Kirkham Studios
We know the importance of a great headshot when it comes to getting cast. Jacqueline Kirkham Studios recently visited our Liverpool evening class to make sure that our actors had new, updated headshots for casting. We're delighted that Jacqueline will be returning to our MediaCityUK venue over the summer.

Thinking Actors teams up with The National Citizen Service
Thinking Actors is pleased to be a key training provider for The National Citizen Service's program of events throughout the summer. We're delivering special team building, communication and media training to young people across the Greater Manchester and Salford region. We had a great time at The Lowry Theatre recently running our Television and Team Building day.

Thinking Actors at the Austrian Embassy
Thinking Actors' Lead Practitioner, Peter Carroll, was invited to attend the London opening night of 'Just Call Me God' with John Malkovich and Deutschland 83 actor Errol Trotman-Harewood. The production is currently on tour across Europe. This timely and resonant play, about the final days of a dictator, was a powerful and resonant production. Following the performance, Peter attended a reception at the Austrian Embassy in Belgravia as a guest of Ambassador Michael Eichtinger. Deutschland 83 was awarded The International Emmy for Best Drama Series and will shortly be repeated on Channel 4.
